Jelly Pancakes has very loud and very gassy aromas of concentrated sugared boysenberries. So strong that Mrs. Mendel asked “what kind of weed is that? I could smell it in the shower?” I was grinding and rolling in the kitchen. The flavor is equally intense, like a cordial of sweet deep dark berries waiting to be diluted with soda with a Chinese herbal medicine flavor which continues to develop as the joint burns down. The final flavor is a thick Dr. Pepper taste which coats the mouth staying there until the resulting munchies are satisfied.
Jelly Pancakes is strong—there is not much I can write about it other than I was left stoned in a stupor. It was a challenge for me to answer a few text messages and post the fact that I had just consumed this bud. Each subsequent message which I read and then replied to was agonizingly difficult to read and reply to. I was, however, content to stare aimlessly into the television watching “the Gentlemen” on Netflix. That is until the main character, played by Theo James, turns down a joint and opts instead for a fat and phallic cigar. This thoroughly offended me—hard to believe this character would be in the cannabis industry. Shame on you Netflix. But I digress.
I highly recommend Jelly Pancakes to any experienced consumer who either loves concentrated dark fruit terps or just wants to separate from their brain for a while (the next morning). This is a strong bud in both terps and high—it is to be enjoyed at home with little interaction with the world. Jelly Pancakes is not appropriate for novice consumers they will not know what hit them.
