I used the Christmas weekend to just chill and smoke some of my favorite strains of the year. It was awesome and I am happy that I gave myself the chance to go back and enjoy those strains I dream about from time to time. But after that weekend of active reminiscing, I was eager to sample the unknown once more. I laid out my queue of samples and let my nose choose the strain: Truffles.
Truffles is a pungent and gassy smelling bud, stinky in the best way possible (my wife disagrees) with a hint of sweetness from a dry pull. The buds are a dense, crystally mess of colors, purple, dark green and dusty grey whites. The flavor (vaped) is surprisingly sweet with a hint of pine in the background—the dankness so prevalent in the odor is barely noticeable in the taste.
Truffles is a strong indica leaning strain, and it hits hard immediately. The first effect is strong pressure in the head which then quickly moves throughout the entire body, relaxing and mildly and pleasantly paralyzing the body. The strain gets as close to complete incapacitation while still being enjoyable and leaves the user happy, dreamy, content with some serious munchies. Users will not want to engage in any activities whatsoever.
Truffles is highly recommended for experienced users. It is a strong indica leaning strain which will leave the user happy, dreamy, ultra relaxed and completely useless. The strength will be too much for a novice user—this is an advanced strain for advanced users. Highly recommended.
